NPC National Qualifier – 21st anniversary Empire Classic is held in conjunction with the Empire Classic Fit Expo
Updates for 2021 – Due to the unpredictable nature of COVID-19 restrictions, there are a few changes for the upcoming NPC Empire Classic:
- Entry deadline has been moved back one week, to April 18th. This will allow us time to make schedule accommodations if the state requires smaller than normal capacity for this year’s event.
- Tickets for this year’s Empire Classic will go on sale April 20th, after the entry deadline. We are hopeful that the show can run in the standard format but if restrictions prevent that, we will know the updated ticket schedule after the entry deadline.
Our goal is to always get athletes up on stage to show off their hard work and make sure they have a great time doing it! We will do everything we can to make the NPC Empire Classic a spectacular experience for both the athletes and spectators. There are certain aspects that we cannot ascertain until closer to the event so we’ll update more info the moment we know.
Established in 2002, The Empire Classic has been a popular attraction for the Northwest physique community for almost two decades. The event attracts bodybuilders, fitness, figure, bikini and physique competitors and fans from hundreds of miles away. In 2013 the Empire Classic was expanded with the addition of the Fitness Expo, incorporating Powerlifting and Strongman events to provide a venue and opportunity for people of all levels of strength and experience to participate. The Empire Classic has something for everyone, whether you are a competitor or a spectator of strength sport.
Hotel info for the 2021 Empire Classic is coming soon!
Important Note: Competitors should bring their own linens and blankets if staying at ANY hotel for this event. Please be respectful of hotel linens and furniture. You will be billed for any damages caused by tanning agents. We recommend purchasing the “Cocoon Cotton Travel Sheet” which you can sleep in to prevent damage to bedding.

Center Stage Tan is the exclusive on-site competition spray tanner for this event. Click the link to book your tanning appointment today and let their staff of licensed estheticians take all the worry out of getting the perfect stage color! Center Stage Tan will be backstage the day of the show and have an expert staff to help you with all of your tanning needs. They use tanning products that are specially formulated for the stage and our lighting. We suggest you make your tanning appointment as soon as possible.
Center Stage Tan will also take appointments for hair and make-up services. Your entry fee does not cover spray tanning so be sure to contact directly and schedule with them.
Trainers may not bring in any airbrush tanning equipment or do any airbrush tanning on the premises! Any trainer tanning their competitor back-stage or in the pavilion will be asked to leave and the competitor disqualified. We are adamant about this as the tanning creams/sprays can damage the venue.
DREAM TAN AND COOKING SPRAYS (PAM, ETC) ARE PROHIBITED!
